This is a scarce model being a single action reel since most of the 00 models have a multiplying gear. This single action reel is almost 2 oz lighter than 00 reel with multiplying gear. Comes with original suede pouch.

No serial number. ’02 patent date on the oil cap. Comes with presumably original leather case. The handle locking nut is replacement made by Bengt Engelbrekt.

For sale here is a stunning Presentation rod made by R.D. (Bob) Taylor – 7’6″ 2/2 for a 5 weight line. Cigar grip, oxidized nickel silver cap and ring. A very nice butternut insert. Oxidized guides and nickel silver ferrules. Dark brown silks with black tipping and full intermediate wraps. The rod is in excellent overall condition. All sections are full length and straight. One of the guides is replaced professionally.  Slight loss of bluing on the butt cap and slight soiling on the grip. Medium fast action. The rod weighs 3 3/4 oz. The ferrules are 13/64 with an excellent fit.
